NewLink Genetics is a biopharmaceutical company applying innovative techniques in cancer biology and molecular medicine to produce new diagnostic and therapeutic agents for cancer patients and infectious diseases. We are a privately held company, incorporated in June 1999.  Since then we have grown to nearly 50 employees.

NewLink Genetics employs experienced professionals with outstanding credentials in biomedical research working in concert with talented individuals in business development to create a solid foundation for success. This team was assembled from a distinguished network of individuals sharing over a decade of productive academic and corporate collaborations. The scientists and board members have current or prior associations with many prestigious research institutions including Stanford, Harvard, Baylor, Northwestern, and Iowa State Universities as well as the National Cancer Institute, the National Human Genome Research Institute, the Royal London Hospital.

Emphasis on early product development as the foundation for long-term success has always been a pillar in our business strategy. Accordingly, we have committed a substantial portion of our resources into product development and, as a direct result; we have progressed to clinic with efficiency and pace few biotechnology companies can claim. We are proud of the exceptionally rapid progress we have demonstrated in clinical development of our HyperAcute™ cancer vaccines. We have successfully progressed from laboratory to clinic in less than three years while maintaining an impressively efficient budget. We believe this rapid pace of development is a further testament to the determination of our talented and motivated staff.
