BioProtection Systems Corporation (BPSC), a subsidiary of NewLink Genetics located in the Iowa State University Research Park in Ames, Iowa, is developing innovative vaccine solutions to Biodefense agents and emerging infectious diseases. BPSC is collaborating with NewLink Genetics’ experienced immunologists and biomedical professionals to exploit new vaccine technologies. As we build our internal capability in scientific research and development, we are creating new positions for talented Research Associates.

Requirements

Requirements include an MS with 1-2 yrs experience or BS  with 2-5 yrs exp in Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Immunology, Virology or a related field. Techniques: ELISA, cell culture, recombinant DNA/cloning; Experience with FACS, immunofluorescence, microscopy and development of pseudovirus/VLPs would be a plus.
