D-1MT

A Phase 1, dose-escalating, single-arm, open-label clinical trial studying 1-methyl-D-tryptophan (D-1MT) in patients with relapsed or refractory solid tumors is currently enrolling patients at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Primary objectives of this trial include determining the drug’s safety, pharmacokinetics, and efficacy.

An additional Phase 1 study, being conducted at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute in Tampa, Florida is also studying D-1MT in patients with advanced malignancies. This study is in collaboration with the Cancer Therapy Evaluation Program (CTEP) of the National Cancer Institute. Its primary objectives are to assess the toxicity, safety, and pharmacokinetics of escalating doses of D-1MT in patients with advanced refractory or recurrent tumors.
